Global Village - International team

Global Village trips give you the opportunity to travel overseas to work hand-in-hand with people around the world to help build simple, decent homes. Volunteers work with low-income families who invest hundreds of hours of sweat equity into building their own house and those of their neighbours. Time and again Global Village volunteers experience transformation in their own lives as they work with people living with the indignity of poverty housing.

Global Village trips last one to three weeks. You can:

• Experience a new culture
• Make friends
• Visit places of interest

It takes enthusiasm and motivation to participate in a Global Village mission. No other skills are required! Skilled construction supervisors will be on site to manage the build and ensure that Global Village volunteers are able to contribute in a meaningful way.

Volunteers can travel as part of their own corporate or community group or as an individual on an open trip.
